My Story
Hi, I’m Carla Santos, founder of BeeHome Algarve.
I’m Brazilian and have been living in Portugal for the past six years, with a professional background rooted in hospitality, leadership, and high-standard property care.
Before moving to Portugal, I spent over three years in England managing a residential and commercial cleaning company. During that time, I developed strong operational and leadership skills, learning the true value of reliability, attention to detail, and building lasting trust with every client.
Later, in Portugal, I worked in five-star spa hotels and a boutique hotel, where I managed operations and led teams dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences with elegance, professionalism, and care.
My passion for hospitality also led me to travel to Thailand to study hospitality and service culture, learning from some of the world’s best examples of guest experience and attention to detail. During my travels, I also visited hotels in several countries, always observing and learning from different styles of hospitality, service, and design that inspire the way I approach property care today.
BeeHome was born from this journey combining my hospitality experience with a genuine passion for creating peaceful, beautifully prepared homes. My mission is to offer a boutique property service defined by excellence, attention to detail, and genuine care for every home we look after.
